Clinical Nurse II – Cardiac Services (Multiple Specialties) | Relocation Opportunity to LibyaAbout the Role
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Registered Nurses to join a leading cardiac healthcare facility in Libya. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals with experience in cardiovascular care who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a specialized cardiac environment.
Successful candidates will become part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced cardiac services across various departments, including Cath Lab, Medical Imaging, Emergency Department, Cardiac Ward, Cardiac ICU, and Outpatient Cardiology Clinics. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside highly skilled healthcare professionals while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
What You'll DoDepending on your specialty area, responsibilities may include:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to cardiovascular patients across inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, emergency, and critical care settings.
- Prepare, assess, monitor, and support patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Assist physicians and cardiologists during cardiac catheterizations, angiography, angioplasty (PCI), stent placements, and other cardiovascular interventions.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures, administer contrast media when required, and ensure patient safety throughout diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage acute cardiovascular emergencies, including myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, and acute heart failure cases.
- Provide comprehensive care for hospitalized cardiac patients, including post-surgical recovery, telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and patient education.
- Deliver advanced critical care to unstable cardiovascular patients, including ventilated patients, post-open-heart surgery cases, and patients requiring life-support interventions.
- Support outpatient cardiology services through patient assessments, ECG preparation, chronic disease management, follow-up care, and health education.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with hospital policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active nursing license/registration from home country.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant clinical experience, depending on specialty.
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Cath Lab
- 3–5 years of Cath Lab experience.
- Experience with PCI, coronary angiography, stent implantation, and cardiac emergencies.
- ACLS certification required.
Medical Imaging
- Minimum 3 years of hospital imaging or diagnostic unit experience.
- Exposure to cardiac imaging procedures.
- Knowledge of contrast media administration and patient monitoring.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Emergency Department
- 3–5 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Strong exposure to myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and arrhythmia management.
- ACLS certification required.
Inpatient Cardiac Ward
- Minimum 3 years of inpatient hospital experience.
- Experience in post-cardiac surgery care and cardiac monitoring units.
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring preferred.
Cardiac ICU
- 3–5 years of ICU experience, preferably within a Cardiac ICU.
- Experience with ventilators, inotropes, post-CABG care, and arrhythmia management.
- ACLS certification required.
- ICU certification preferred.
Outpatient Cardiology Clinic
- 2–4 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Exposure to cardiology outpatient services preferred.
- Knowledge of ECG preparation and interpretation support.
- Strong patient education and chronic disease management skills.
