Job Summary
- Seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to support advanced Cyber Network Operations (CNO) through software development, scripting, reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and operational analysis
- This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and exploiting vulnerabilities in support of mission objectives while developing and enhancing tools, techniques, and capabilities used in cyber operations
- The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of low-level system internals, offensive and defensive cyber methodologies, and the ability to support Technical Data Network Analysis (TDNA), Digital Network Exploitation Analysis (DNEA), and other cyber mission activities
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and technical analysis of software, firmware, protocols, and operating systems
- Develop scripts, tools, and software capabilities to support Cyber Network Operations (CNO) and mission objectives.
- Perform technical analysis and exploitation of target systems, applications, and network services
- Support Technical Data Network Analysis (TDNA) and Digital Network Exploitation Analysis (DNEA) activities
- Analyze network communications, system artifacts, and collected data to identify vulnerabilities, operational opportunities, and mission-relevant intelligence
- Evaluate malware, binaries, and software components to determine functionality, weaknesses, and exploitation potential.
- Develop and maintain custom tools, automation scripts, and operational capabilities using languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or similar technologies
- Support planning, execution, and assessment of cyber operations by providing technical expertise and operational recommendations
- Collaborate with analysts, operators, engineers, and mission partners to develop innovative technical solutions to complex cyber challenges
- Document research findings, exploitation methodologies, and technical assessments in support of operational requirements.
- Remain current with emerging cyber threats, exploitation techniques, vulnerabilities, and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Degree must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field
- Experience with software development, scripting, and technical problem solving in cybersecurity or computer science environments
- Experience conducting reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, or exploit development activities
- Knowledge of operating system internals, network protocols, computer architecture, and cybersecurity principles
- Experience supporting or performing Cyber Network Operations (CNO), exploitation, or cyber mission activities
- Familiarity with Technical Data Network Analysis (TDNA) and/or Digital Network Exploitation Analysis (DNEA)
- Experience using Python, C/C++, Java, Assembly, or other relevant programming languages
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
- Ability to communicate technical findings and recommendations to diverse audiences

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The pay range for this role is:
135,000 - 185,000 USD per year(Ft. Meade MD)
