Job Overview:
The Secretary performs duties directly involved in maintaining a smooth flow of communications between the director's office, physicians, patients, families and outside agencies and hospital services.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Advanced secretarial skills, including typing, patient scheduling and knowledge of insurance
Scheduling Requirements:
- Per Diem
- Day
- One Saturday a month
Essential Functions:
- Schedules patients
- Answers phones
- Checks insurance coverage and collection of co-pay
