Job Description
Valet Trash by Fetch is hiring a full-time Area Supervisor to own field-level quality and contractor performance across a dedicated market. This is a foundational role in a company that has scaled from 500 to over 20,000 units in less than a year and is still growing. If you’re someone who takes ownership, works well independently, and holds high standards in the field, there is a significant runway here.
This role is not a desk job. The Area Supervisor is field-based, market-specific, and directly responsible for service quality outcomes across a portfolio of 5,000 to 10,000 units. You will be responsible for quality audits, contractor onboarding, and closing coverage gaps, including covering down yourself when needed. This role requires someone who leads from the front.
The Area Supervisor reports directly to the Area Manager for their market.
This is the core of the role. You are the eyes and ears of the operation in the field, and you are accountable for the performance of every community in your market.
Conduct pre-service, live-service, and post-service quality checks and audits across assigned communities.
Verify that on-site logistics are in order, equipment is functional, and service conditions meet Fetch standards.
Monitor and drive community-level service quality rates, maintaining above 95% monthly across your portfolio.
Run supply replenishment from the warehouse to communities or trash service partners as needed.
Document all audit findings and field observations and report to the Area Manager.
Use your smartphone and Fetch’s operational technology to log tasks, run audits, and verify service completion in real time.
You are responsible for setting Service Partners up for success before they ever run their first route.
Conduct on-site orientations ensuring Partners understand site-specific access, logistics, and workplan standards.
Oversee TSP workplan execution and make workplan adjustments where operational conditions require it.
When coverage breaks down, you close the gap. This includes physically covering routes yourself.
Identify and respond to TSP no-shows, route gaps, or service disruptions within your market.
Cover down on routes directly when needed to ensure communities are not left without service.
Maintain a monthly completion rate above 95% across your portfolio by proactively identifying staffing gaps before and during the service window.
Coordinate with the Area Manager on recurring coverage issues that may require contractor pipeline action.
Reliable open-bed pickup truck required. This role involves regular warehouse runs for supply replenishment and field mobility across the market.
Willingness to perform hands-on, physical field work including tasks that are dirty, repetitive, or physically demanding.
Ability to lift and handle up to 50–70 lbs as required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to document field observations accurately and consistently.
Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and make sound field-level decisions.
Basic proficiency with smartphones and mobile applications; must be comfortable learning and operating Fetch’s internal platform tools.
Prior experience in field operations, facilities, property services, or a supervisory role in a service environment preferred.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Travel within your assigned market is required on every scheduled shift.
Approved work-related mileage is reimbursed at $0.70 per mile in accordance with company policy.
Market scope: 5,000 to 10,000 units across assigned communities.
