As an Engineering Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of renewable energy engineering projects that directly contribute to the global energy transition. This role combines project leadership, client relationship management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will oversee multiple engineering initiatives simultaneously, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to drive execution from project kickoff through closeout. The position offers significant responsibility, autonomy, and visibility while providing the opportunity to influence complex renewable energy developments. - Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy engineering projects, maintaining accountability for scope, budget, schedule, quality, and deliverables.
- Develop and oversee project plans, work schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and execution strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and external consultants, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and timely completion of project milestones.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, manage scope changes, and implement corrective actions to maintain project objectives.
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and internal quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating communication, managing expectations, and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate project progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- Support proposal development efforts by contributing to scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and project planning activities.
- Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven project environment.
- Manage project invoicing and financial tracking to support overall project performance and profitability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within engineering consulting, renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, or similar technical industries.
- Demonstrated success managing project scopes, schedules, budgets, financial tracking, and client deliverables.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to apply standard procedures while exercising independent judgment.
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams and external consultants across multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience identifying risks and developing practical solutions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively lead project teams toward shared objectives.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in renewable energy engineering, project development, utility-scale energy projects, or familiarity with the renewable energy project lifecycle.
