Course Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Course Developer based in Canada.

This role focuses on designing and producing engaging, modern digital learning experiences that combine instructional design with high-quality video production and motion graphics. You will transform complex technical concepts into clear, visually compelling training content used across customers, partners, and internal teams. Working within a collaborative Learning & Development environment, you will partner closely with instructional designers and subject matter experts to bring learning journeys to life. The role places strong emphasis on multimedia storytelling, ensuring content is both educationally effective and visually engaging. You will also leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline production, enhance creativity, and improve scalability. This is a highly creative and technical role suited for someone passionate about learning innovation and digital content creation.

Accountabilities:
  • Create engaging e-learning and training videos using tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Audition, and other Adobe Creative Suite applications.
  • Design animations and motion graphics to simplify and visually communicate complex technical or conceptual topics.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to translate technical content into structured learning materials.
  • Edit, refine, and enhance learning assets to ensure clarity, consistency, and high production quality.
  • Manage end-to-end course production workflows, including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and delivery milestones.
  • Maintain and evolve templates, design systems, asset libraries, and e-learning style guides.
  • Publish, organize, and manage learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, usability, and instructional effectiveness of all deliverables.
  • Integrate AI-enabled tools into content creation workflows, including scripting, editing, voice, and video enhancement.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency and learning impact through emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in video production, motion graphics, and multimedia content creation using Adobe Creative Suite tools.
  • Experience developing e-learning content, instructional videos, or technical training materials.
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, including layout, typography, color, and branding consistency.
  • Familiarity or strong interest in AI tools and their application in content creation and learning design.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging visual narratives.
  • High attention to detail with strong quality assurance and editorial standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset with strong communication skills.
