As part of our team, you will also enjoy robust benefits, generous time off, retirement plans with employer contributions, ongoing professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through your leadership and expertise.

  • You will maintain oversight of the general ledger, internal controls, financial systems, and accounting processes to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • You will develop financial reports, forecasts, and analyses that support organizational planning and decision-making.
  • You will oversee agency billing activities, including regulatory and reimbursement requirements associated with OPWDD, SED, OCFS, and clinic funding sources.
  • You will lead the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of the agency's annual budget while identifying opportunities for financial efficiency and cost control.
  • You will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, regulatory filings, cost reports, audits, and compliance activities.
  • You will oversee annual audit preparation and coordinate the provision of financial records and documentation to auditors.
  • You will provide oversight of cash flow, banking relationships, accounts receivable, and accounts payable activities to support the organization's financial stability.
  • You will provide financial guidance and meaningful reporting to organizational leaders, department heads, and other key stakeholders.
  • You will lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous learning, and professional excellence.
  • You will support the implementation and optimization of financial technologies and systems that improve efficiency and strengthen financial operations.
  • You will help ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, reporting standards, and industry best practices while promoting ethical stewardship of organizational resources.

What You Can Bring to the Team:
  • Strong financial leadership, strategic thinking, and sound business judgment.
  • A commitment to accountability, integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing others.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Alignment with our mission and values.
  • A desire to contribute to an organization committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism.

In Addition, We Expect That You:
  • Hold a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Possess the knowledge, experience, and technical expertise necessary to successfully oversee complex financial operations.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance requirements.
