How You’ll Make a Difference
Reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the Chief Medical Officer, you will own the design, delivery, and outcomes of Mosaic’s clinical pharmacy care model and lead the team of clinical pharmacists and technicians who bring it to life.
In this role, you will make sure Mosaic’s clinical services consistently deliver superior quality, strong CMS Star and HEDIS performance, and lower total cost of care for our health plan clients, while building the technology and team to scale that model.
Your leadership directly shapes how medically complex and vulnerable seniors across the country experience their care, helping make every patient’s medication regimen as safe, simple, effective, and affordable as possible.
What You’ll Do
- Own the design, implementation, and ongoing management of Mosaic’s clinical pharmacy care model.
- Ensure clinical services consistently deliver superior quality, including strong CMS Star Ratings and HEDIS measures, and lower total cost of care.
- Define the requirements for the technology that makes the clinical model effective, efficient, and scalable, and guide its procurement and development.
- Lead and grow the team of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, managing performance against key quality and outcome indicators.
- Determine staffing requirements and plan clinical staffing to meet patient and client demand while achieving financial goals.
- Partner with the Pharmacist-in-Charge and Legal and Regulatory to build and sustain a culture of compliance, and maintain patient medication records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Lead Quality Improvement Projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with senior Mosaic and RxAnte leaders and health plan clients to sell, deliver, and measure clinical outcomes.
- Supervise Mosaic’s preceptor program for pharmacy students completing APPE rotations, and convene a committee of clinical and scientific leaders.
- Represent Mosaic by presenting research and educational content at conferences and events.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $165,000 to $205,000. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus of 15% of base salary. Actual compensation within the range is determined by factors including experience, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements:What We’re Looking For
Required
- 7 or more years of clinical pharmacy patient care and management experience.
- At least 4 years of direct ambulatory patient care experience.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent experience.
- Active license in good standing to practice pharmacy in Virginia.
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency, or board certification (BPS) in Ambulatory Care, Geriatrics, or Pharmacotherapy, or equivalent experience supervising ambulatory clinical pharmacy care.
- Proven track record of building and scaling clinical pharmacy services with measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of payer and provider markets, including pharmacy quality measures, population health management, and pharmacy benefit management.
- Demonstrated success leading clinical teams and organizational technology transformations.
- Strategic, forward-thinking leadership with strong collaboration and influencing skills and the ability to execute independently in a fast-changing environment.
- Daily worksite at the Mosaic Pharmacy Service facility in Sterling, Virginia; a hybrid schedule is available upon successful completion of onboarding.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company-sponsored visa sponsorship.
Preferred
- Experience presenting research or educational content at industry conferences.
- Experience leading or supervising a pharmacy preceptor or residency program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
