ROLE

The Material Handler/Export Analyst performs manual and clerical duties, responsible for the receipt, storage and shipment of materials, parts and products and the accounting thereof both physical and within the ERP system.


RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Generally responsible for organizing and handling a variety of logistics issues in manufacturing.
  • Material handling, work order kitting, inventory control, security and accountability of inventory, periodic cycle counts, physical inventories.
  • May also be responsible from a logistics and/or traffic standpoint for import-export licensing, ensuring legal compliance with regulations and government rules, and coordinating domestic and international shipments.

  • Adherence to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality
  • Working positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
  • Supervise department, provide training, and collaborate with procurement/production teams.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer literate.
  • 10+ years in shipping/receiving
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Excellent organization skills and communication skills
  • Exhibits good judgement and initiative
  • Able to maintain positive helpful and cooperative working relationship with all departments of the organization.
  • Able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent team-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency or comfortable implementing lean methodologies
