The FSW/Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of accommodation and food service activities by providing reliable transportation and support services. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely, typically up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Ability to navigate directions to and from designated schools.
- Dependability and reliability is very important for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a driver or food service worker role within the accommodation and food services industry.
- Familiarity with local routes and delivery logistics in the United States.
- Customer service experience, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication skills.
- Basic first aid and food safety training.
Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport food and supplies to designated locations within scheduled timeframes.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety and cleanliness.
- Support food service workers by assisting with setup, breakdown, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents or delays encountered during routes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
