Accounts Payable Associate in Chicago, Illinois at Corporate Coverage Company

Corporate Coverage Company is hiring an Accounts Payable Associate to join our shared services and accounting team. We support a family-owned group of recycling and industrial service companies operating across six states. Since 1976, we’ve delivered practical, reliable industrial solutions across the Midwest and South — and our corporate team plays a critical role in keeping operations running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of invoices and payables submitted by managers across multiple locations.
• Review and reconcile invoices that require supporting documentation and reports.
• Enter and maintain payables for multiple company entities.
• Coordinate all aspects of weekly check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with vendors
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for assigned entities.
• Help maintain accurate, organized financial records and support the broader accounting team as needed.

• Onsite, Monday to Friday from 8AM – 4:30PM

Pay Rate

• $24.00 - $28.00 depending on prior experience

What you’ll need

• Previous accounts payable experience required.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of any accounting systems a plus
• Efficient, high degree of accuracy in data entry; willing to proofread.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach.
