Summary/Objective

The Quality Analyst drives data-informed decisions, improvement initiatives, and technical support. This role involves analyzing data, generating reports, and conducting root cause analyses to enhance processes. The Analyst responds to data queries, implements streamlined systems, and provides improved data utilization. Additionally, the role includes developing a deep understanding of the District's EHR system to support various departments.

Essential Functions

1. Gather, analyze, and interpret data using statistical techniques

2. Synthesize data from various systems to produce ongoing reports for informed decision-making

3. Conduct root cause and failure modes analyses to guide quality improvement projects

4. Lead the implementation of databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies for optimized efficiency and quality

5. Provide technical support for the facility’s EHR

6. Maintain confidentiality at all times in accordance with applicable regulations

7. Collaborate with the quality team and department leaders to integrate improvement science methodologies for continuous performance improvement

8. Attend and lead meetings as assigned

9. Provide analytical support across diverse projects

10. Attend conferences and educational forums as approved

15. Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in data analytics, system dynamics, statistics, quality assurance, and/or improvement science

Preferred Education and Experience

Associate degree or higher

SQL, CPQH, Six Sigma, Lean, Data Analytics, or similar certification

Experience in healthcare settings
