The Sterling Executive Account Manager (EAM) is assigned to a book of Sterling business and is responsible for the accounts as the primary relationship contact. In this role you are required to be holding a Life/Accident & Sickness insurance license for the province in which you practice.
We are currently recruiting for producers/advisors who are licensed and also reside in the province of Alberta or British Columbia. While we are a remote workforce you will be expected to attend sales meetings at either the local Alberta or BC office depending on your location. Your license and sponsorship must be up to date and in force.
In this role you will be specifically responsible for delivering for your client:
- Manage all Clients (as assigned) Business Reviews on Employee Benefit claims and plan health
- Deliver the Annual Renewal Analysis and Reporting to the client
- Manage escalated issues from the internal client services support team regarding your client’s employee plan members as needed
- Conduct regular follow-up and connection calls to your Client Plan Administrators to ensure satisfaction and service and to develop or execute on meaningful growth requirements
- Collaborate with sales and implementation teams to assist in the successful onboarding of new clients that will be added to your portfolio
- Participate in regular 1/1 calls with your manager and/or team
- Participate in collaborative meetings/projects at Sterling requiring your input/expertise
To be successful in this role you are required to demonstrate expertise in the following:
- Group Benefits Experience – plan design, analysis, claims management, client management, sales – we are ideally looking for 3 – 5 years experience
- Experience as a producer on the sales side of client management as well as the service side of client management is a bonus
- Insurance License LLQP – with in force E&O coverage for the province in which you are practicing in. Multiple other provinces are welcome
- Experience working with enterprise clients (500 employee size companies and up)
- Your are collaborative by nature and have a strong sense of ownership over your client domain
- You have demonstrated communications skills that includes polished presentation skills and can use the latest technology applications (MS Suite, Slack, Salesforce, AI tools, other)
- You have a very professional demeanor
