Part-Time Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide compassionate mental health support and facilitate therapeutic group sessions during weekends. As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults, to promote healing, resilience, and positive behavioral change. This paid position is perfect for professionals committed to advancing mental health care in a supportive environment.DutiesLead engaging and therapeutic group sessions focused on behavioral health, social work, addiction counseling, or special education topics during weekend hoursConduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plansMonitor and document client progress through detailed medical documentation and records while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentialityManage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to ensure client safetyAdminister medication as prescribed, monitor vital signs when necessary, and record medical terminology accurately in medical recordsCollect data on client behaviors and treatment outcomes to inform ongoing care plans and ensure quality patient careCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including social work professionals, medical staff, and educatorsExperienceProven experience working with adults in behavioral health or social work settingsStrong background in crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management strategiesKnowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical documentation standards such as HIPAA regulationsFamiliarity with addiction counseling, PTSD, and mental health disordersAbility to collect and analyze data effectively to monitor client progress and treatment efficacyExcellent communication skills for intake assessments, team collaboration, and client engagementJoin us in making a positive impact through compassionate therapy!
