Cloud Connectivity Engineer in United States Embassy at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Cloud Connectivity Engineer based in the United States.

As a Cloud Connectivity Engineer, you will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable networking solutions that power modern cloud environments. In this role, you'll work across leading cloud platforms to build resilient connectivity architectures, automate infrastructure, and ensure reliable communication between cloud and on-premises systems. Collaborating closely with engineering and security teams, you will help deliver high-performing enterprise networking solutions that support business-critical applications. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies in a fully remote environment while contributing to infrastructure modernization and operational excellence.

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud networking architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Build and manage networking components including VPCs/VNets, routing, DNS, transit gateways, hybrid connectivity, and edge networking solutions.
• Automate cloud network provisioning and management using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Implement and support Kubernetes networking, cloud connectivity, and network security controls for containerized applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud network performance, availability, scalability, and infrastructure costs.
• Collaborate with security, DevOps, and engineering teams to design reliable, secure, and resilient networking solutions.
• Contribute to network architecture improvements, documentation, and automation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

• 6+ years of experience in networking, including significant hands-on experience with cloud networking technologies.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform networking services and architectures.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code for cloud infrastructure automation.
• Solid knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, Kubernetes networking, routing, switching, BGP, DNS, and cloud security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in complex networking environments.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional technical teams in enterprise cloud environments.
• AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Azure Network Engineer, or similar cloud networking certifications are preferred.
• Experience with multi-cloud networking, SD-WAN, SASE, or eBPF networking technologies is considered a plus.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $150,000.
