Description:

The In-Home Day Treatment Provider is responsible for providing direct, community-based services to youth and families referred by Juvenile Court Services. The Provider manages an assigned caseload and works directly with youth and families to provide skill-building services based on identified needs and goals. This position maintains regular communication with Juvenile Court Services and other involved stakeholders, completes and distributes required documentation within established timeframes, and supports collaborative, trauma-informed service delivery to promote positive outcomes for youth and families.

  • Provide Skill Development services to youth ages 11–19 and their families in the home.
  • Manage a caseload of 8–12 youth and provide two hours of Skill Development services per week to each assigned youth and family.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners and associated agencies.
  • Complete required EPICS-I training.
  • Utilize EPICS-I as a primary resource for skill-building with youth.
  • Complete required service documentation, including service notes, reports, releases, and other required records, within established timeframes.
  • Maintain the client notepad by documenting communication and attempts to communicate with referring workers and parents, including any service lapses lasting more than one week.
  • Submit required weekly, monthly, and discharge documentation to Juvenile Court Services within established timeframes.
  • Coordinate with other service providers involved with the youth, including mental health providers, psychiatrists, healthcare providers, school/educational staff, child welfare service providers, and Juvenile Court Services.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries, structure, and safety of youth and provide crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Attend and participate in required supervision.
  • Attend and participate in all required training and professional development.
  • Comply with agency Code of Conduct, compliance, confidentiality, and Core Value requirements.
  • Uphold agency communication standards.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and sufficient liability insurance coverage on the vehicle used for transportation to clients.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
  • Complete assigned responsibilities related to electronic monitoring in accordance with program and agency requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Education, Social Work, or a related social science field; OR
  • Two years of college education and at least one year of full-time employment working with at-risk youth or in law enforcement.
  • Exceptions to these requirements may be approved in writing by the Chief Juvenile Court Officer on a case-by-case basis.
  • Must participate in ongoing professional and technical development and training, including completion of EPICS for Influencer training.
