Job Description

General: A Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process while supporting Business Development Representatives and Management
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Makes cold calls and leads discovery calls with prospects, drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified calls and accounts
• Handles source sales via email, cold calling, and lead follow-up calls
• Enter Contact, Customer, Projected Revenue, Contracts and Visits into CRM
• Supports Contract Manager and VP in Quote Preparation and Product Research
• Conducting hospice need analysis and presenting the customer with possible solutions
• Determining the best products to meet the requirements of a customer
• Providing technical expertise on products and/or service
• Perform monthly retention calls with pipeline customers in account list
• Work with Manager and Accounts to collect Aging past due amounts
• Perform weekly One on One with Manager
• Taking part in exhibitions, conventions and other events to help in the sales of products and/or service
• Ensure Training and Certification Requirements are met
• Work with Managers on Pricing and Contracts
• Maintain and operate company vehicle according to company guidelines, Review Vehicle Repairs, Odometer Pics, Fleetmatics Data and address accordingly
• Understand and follow company handbook, and all company or customer safety and environmental policies
Qualifications for sales representative:
• Graduate from an accredited high school, business degree preferable with two years’ experience in sales and/or operations in medical or DME; or equivalent combined education and on the job experience
• Thorough knowledge of office records development, maintenance and control.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Ability to develop, organize, and coordinate paperwork flow.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing and to work effectively with a wide range of people, including referral sources, patients/clients, service agencies, co-workers, and management.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to accept, utilize, and perform supervision.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Good knowledge of home care medical products and supplies.
• Have in-depth technical knowledge about the products, their working and their pros and cons
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile.
• Ability to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, and otherwise transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.
• Depending on location, incumbents are required to occasionally dispense liquid oxygen which requires the ability to lift, pull, push and carry containers up to 100 lbs
• Regular and continuous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity is required to set up durable medical equipment
• Frequent bending, twisting, grasping and squeezing and occasional kneeling, climbing stairs, reaching above the should is required to transport and set up medical equipment described
• Ability to utilize basic tools e.g., wrench, screwdrivers etc to set up durable medical equipment
• Ability to extend full arm length above head and lift objects up to 75 lbs or more over head
• Ability to walk up and down stairs holding or carrying heavy objects
• Capable of sitting in a stationary position while driving for prolonged periods of time and remain alert at all times
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions
• Must be capable of entering and exiting cab of vehicle multiple times a day by bending, squatting and ducking
• Must satisfactorily pass physical testing requirements periodically throughout the duration of the job which is consistent of the job requirements as discussed above
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements as listed as well as any reasonable request during the duration of the job
Salary
$60,000-$70,000 a year along with a commission plan
Requirements:
