The ServiceNow Engagement Manager will lead complex ServiceNow transformation programs from initiation through successful delivery.
This role carries ownership of engagement governance, scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and change management.
You will act as a senior point of contact for customers, partners, and executive stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment with business objectives.
The position requires the ability to coordinate geographically distributed teams and drive consistent delivery standards across complex engagements.
You will proactively identify challenges, manage risks, and guide teams toward measurable customer outcomes.
The role also provides opportunities to mentor project managers and consultants while partnering across sales, customer success, and delivery functions.
AI-enabled tools and insights will be leveraged to improve delivery efficiency, decision-making, and overall customer value.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale ServiceNow implementations, workflow initiatives, and digital transformation programs.
- Own engagement governance across scope, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risks, dependencies, and change control.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, partners, and executive-level stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Establish alignment between customer business objectives, project deliverables, ServiceNow solutions, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed delivery teams while ensuring adherence to established ServiceNow delivery methodologies and best practices.
- Identify potential delivery risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and drive timely resolution.
- Monitor engagement performance, financials, milestones, resources, and overall delivery quality.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to maximize customer value realization and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Mentor project managers, consultants, and delivery professionals, promoting effective delivery practices and continuous improvement.
- Use AI-enabled tools and insights where appropriate to improve project analysis, operational efficiency, decision-making, and customer outcomes.
- Facilitate executive communications, presentations, governance meetings, and key engagement reviews.
- 8+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, enterprise technology delivery, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading complex ServiceNow implementations, workflow programs, or broader digital transformation initiatives.
- ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or other relevant workflow certifications are preferred.
- Strong expertise in program and engagement governance, stakeholder management, financial oversight, resource planning, risk mitigation, and change control.
- Demonstrated experience managing executive-level customer relationships and communicating effectively with senior decision-makers.
- Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams and coordinate partner ecosystems across complex engagements.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery methodologies and the ability to maintain delivery quality across multiple workstreams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive accountability without relying solely on direct authority.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Contract position with a fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
- $55/hour on W2, with the final rate potentially varying based on qualifications, experience, and location.
