Internal Process Auditor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Internal Process Auditor based in India.

This is a remote opportunity for a quality and compliance professional who will play a key role in strengthening internal processes and operational standards.
You will lead internal audits aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and monitor compliance across critical service areas.
The role combines audit execution, risk management, documentation, and continuous improvement.
You will identify process gaps and non-conformities, investigate root causes, and drive effective corrective actions.
Working across teams, you will translate audit findings into practical recommendations that improve efficiency and reliability.
The position also offers exposure to cost analysis, service optimization, and management reporting.
It is well suited to an independent, detail-oriented professional who enjoys improving processes and maintaining high standards.

Accountabilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and established audit schedules.
  • Monitor compliance across Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), building insurance, applicable regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Maintain, update, and continuously improve Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, standard operating procedures, and related process materials.
  • Identify, assess, escalate, and follow up on operational risks and non-conformities, using structured root cause analysis to support effective resolution.
  • Prepare monthly audit reports, summarize findings and recommendations, and present key insights to management.
  • Recommend process improvements, track corrective and preventive actions, and measure their effectiveness and business impact.
  • Keep current with ISO standards and quality management practices while delivering awareness and training sessions to relevant teams.
  • Conduct cost analysis, contribute to budgeting activities, and support negotiations and initiatives aimed at improving service efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in internal auditing, quality management, compliance, or a closely related field.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification.
  • Experience in facilities management, AMC/PPM operations, insurance compliance, or similar operational environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a structured approach to identifying risks and process deficiencies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage documentation, audit evidence, findings, and corrective actions accurately.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate audit findings and recommendations to different stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple audit and improvement activities.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and quality management practices.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, audit scheduling systems, QMS platforms, and risk registers.
