This is a hands-on supply chain leadership role focused on scaling a high-volume, on-demand manufacturing and fulfillment network.
You will oversee external manufacturing partners, strengthen vendor performance, and ensure products are delivered on time and to a high quality standard.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Operations, and executive stakeholders, you will turn operational challenges into scalable solutions.
You’ll also have the opportunity to introduce automation and AI-enabled processes that reduce manual work and improve supply chain performance.
This position is ideal for an analytical, collaborative operator who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving complex supply chain problems.

Accountabilities
  • Vendor & Network Management: Manage a network of third-party manufacturers and fulfillment partners, monitoring performance against on-time delivery, defect rates, unit costs, and other key service metrics.
  • Capacity Planning & Scaling: Develop capacity models and dynamically route orders to accommodate sales growth and seasonal demand peaks; identify, evaluate, and onboard new manufacturing partners as needed.
  • Fulfillment Strategy: Develop and execute fulfillment strategies for specialty and customized products, maximizing throughput and operational efficiency while maintaining disciplined capital expenditure.

  • Systems & Technology: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate supply chain requirements into technical specifications for routing, inventory, order-management, and related systems.
  • Data & Automation: Use analytics, modeling, BI tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve forecasting, automate manual workflows, and create greater operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Communicate supply chain trade-offs and recommendations clearly to product managers, engineers, customer operations teams, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in on-demand supply chain, manufacturing, vendor operations, e-commerce fulfillment, or a closely related field.
  • Data & Modeling: Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and experience using BI platforms such as Looker to build cost, forecasting, capacity, and operational models.
  • AI & Automation: Experience applying AI or automation technologies to eliminate manual processes, improve workflows, and increase supply chain efficiency.
  • Vendor Management: Demonstrated success managing third-party manufacturers, 3PLs, or similar external partners, including enforcing SLAs and leading quarterly business reviews.
  • Peak-Season Operations: Experience managing high-volume e-commerce seasonality, particularly in an on-demand, direct-to-consumer fulfillment environment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to explain complex operational trade-offs and translate supply chain requirements for technical, product, and executive audiences.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and operational judgment, with the ability to identify root causes, prioritize opportunities, and implement practical solutions.
  • Preferred Background: Experience in print, paper, custom manufacturing, or high-SKU/personalized e-commerce is a plus.
  • Education: A degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
