Warehouse Manager in at BW ELECTRICAL SERVICES

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory and tool control, staging and dispatch of material to active job sites, and vendor returns. This role is the operational backbone connecting purchasing decisions to what actually shows up on job sites on time, and is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and warehouse safety and organization

Key Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, staging, and dispatch of material and equipment to active job sites

• Maintain accurate inventory of small tools, consumables, and equipment; implement and enforce a tool tracking/accountability system

• Coordinate delivery scheduling and truck/driver routing to job sites in partnership with the Purchasing Agent

• Process vendor returns and credits, and reconcile discrepancies

• Maintain warehouse organization, safety, and housekeeping standards

• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile results to system records

• Coordinate maintenance scheduling for warehouse and delivery vehicles/fleet

• Supervise warehouse staff and drivers, where applicable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience; construction or electrical distribution background preferred

• Forklift certification a plus

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Strong organizational skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems

• Ability to lift and move materials, and to work in a warehouse environment
