Opportunities available in the heart of Dallas
We are seeking a Enrollment Coordinator/Front Office Assistant Float with a passion for service excellence to join the HHM Health team. The Enrollment Coordinator/Front Office Assistant Float serves as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment. This role handles patient enrollments while staying up to date with front desk responsibilities.
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:
- Schedule new and established patients in all locations and specialties
- Schedule new patient appointments and interviews applicants or authorized representative to gather information while determining eligibility for benefits.
- Obtain, verify, and calculate income and resources to determine patients financial eligibility.
- Explain available benefit programs, rights and responsibilities and other agency services to applicants/recipients and general public.
- Work with a diverse patient population in the heart of Dallas
- Obtain and scan all necessary demographic, financial information, missing registration items, consents and other missing documents required for registration and to properly determine potential program eligibility.
- Explain and verify patients' sliding fee discounts according to clinic protocol.
- Verify insurance eligibility during enrollment process or prior to patients' appointment
- Travel to other locations in the DFW Metroplex, as needed for coverage needs.
What you need to succeed
To become one of our CARES-givers, you will have excellent patient engagement, strong communication skills and an eye for continuous improvement. You will also have the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of related experience, prior experience in a community-based clinic is preferred.
- Prior experience with medical enrollment including Medicaid.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar and MS Office Suite skills
- Bilingual in Spanish, Pashto, Burmese, Rohingya or any other languages, preferred.
- Passion for providing service excellence
- Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
