This role is ideal for an experienced writer who combines creativity, strategic thinking, independence, and a strong passion for crafting compelling customer experiences.

Accountabilities
  • Own the full creative copywriting process from initial concept through editing, refinement, and final delivery, working with minimal oversight.
  • Develop original, imaginative, and strategically aligned copy for websites, digital advertising, promotional campaigns, retail signage, and other marketing materials.
  • Write and edit long-form blog posts and articles designed to strengthen SEO performance, organic traffic, and brand authority.
  • Develop and maintain recognizable editorial voices across multiple customer-facing brands, adapting tone and messaging appropriately for each audience.
  • Support marketing initiatives across retail, Amazon, and big-box channels, ensuring messaging remains compelling and consistent.
  • Partner with CRM, Growth, Creative, and other teams on A/B testing and data-driven copy initiatives to improve messaging performance.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain consistent brand positioning, voice, and tone across products, campaigns, and communication channels.
  • Provide multiple creative concepts, messaging approaches, and positioning options that can be tested across different products and customer segments.
  • Exercise strong independent judgment when resolving complex editorial or creative challenges and making decisions that affect the quality and effectiveness of final deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain high-quality output in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Explore AI and agentic tools to improve creative workflows, productivity, ideation, and content development while maintaining strong editorial standards.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content writing, editorial, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience owning the copywriting process from beginning to end with limited supervision and demonstrating accountability for final output.
  • Experience in e-commerce is strongly preferred, with an understanding of digital customer journeys and commercial content.
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven copywriting.
  • Strong editorial judgment, exceptional writing ability, and a diverse portfolio demonstrating range across formats, audiences, and channels.
  • Ability to develop distinctive brand voices while maintaining consistency across multiple customer-facing touchpoints.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and demonstrated ability to use them effectively to enhance creative workflows and productivity.
  • Experience working with AI agentic tools and an interest in exploring new approaches to content creation.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with creative, marketing, growth, CRM, retail, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, technology-driven, and rapidly evolving creative environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to connect creative messaging with customer needs, business objectives, and measurable outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to attend off-site meetings twice per year.
  • Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work within the country.
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary of $90,000–$115,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and other applicable factors.
  • Potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • Company contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • 401(k) plan with company matching.
  • Take-what-you-need paid time off.
  • Wellness benefits and programs.
  • Work-from-home office and cell phone/internet stipends.
  • Flexible remote-first working environment, subject to applicable location requirements.
  • Complimentary mattress and employee Friends & Family discounts.
  • Opportunities to work within a collaborative, technology-driven environment focused on digital commerce and creative innovation.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to inclusion, diverse perspectives, and fair employment practices.
