This is an opportunity to shape the voice and storytelling of a high-growth digital commerce organization reaching millions of customers across multiple brands and channels.
You’ll own the copywriting process from concept through final delivery, bringing strong ideas and editorial judgment to every project.
The role spans e-commerce, digital advertising, retail, content, packaging, and other customer-facing experiences.
You’ll help evolve distinct brand voices while maintaining consistency, clarity, and creative impact across platforms.
Your work will also support SEO, experimentation, growth initiatives, and data-driven content optimization.
You’ll collaborate with creative, marketing, CRM, growth, retail, and other cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
This role is ideal for an experienced writer who combines creativity, strategic thinking, independence, and a strong passion for crafting compelling customer experiences.
- Own the full creative copywriting process from initial concept through editing, refinement, and final delivery, working with minimal oversight.
- Develop original, imaginative, and strategically aligned copy for websites, digital advertising, promotional campaigns, retail signage, and other marketing materials.
- Write and edit long-form blog posts and articles designed to strengthen SEO performance, organic traffic, and brand authority.
- Develop and maintain recognizable editorial voices across multiple customer-facing brands, adapting tone and messaging appropriately for each audience.
- Support marketing initiatives across retail, Amazon, and big-box channels, ensuring messaging remains compelling and consistent.
- Partner with CRM, Growth, Creative, and other teams on A/B testing and data-driven copy initiatives to improve messaging performance.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain consistent brand positioning, voice, and tone across products, campaigns, and communication channels.
- Provide multiple creative concepts, messaging approaches, and positioning options that can be tested across different products and customer segments.
- Exercise strong independent judgment when resolving complex editorial or creative challenges and making decisions that affect the quality and effectiveness of final deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain high-quality output in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Explore AI and agentic tools to improve creative workflows, productivity, ideation, and content development while maintaining strong editorial standards.
- 5+ years of professional experience in copywriting, content writing, editorial, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience owning the copywriting process from beginning to end with limited supervision and demonstrating accountability for final output.
- Experience in e-commerce is strongly preferred, with an understanding of digital customer journeys and commercial content.
- Demonstrated experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven copywriting.
- Strong editorial judgment, exceptional writing ability, and a diverse portfolio demonstrating range across formats, audiences, and channels.
- Ability to develop distinctive brand voices while maintaining consistency across multiple customer-facing touchpoints.
- Familiarity with AI tools and demonstrated ability to use them effectively to enhance creative workflows and productivity.
- Experience working with AI agentic tools and an interest in exploring new approaches to content creation.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with creative, marketing, growth, CRM, retail, and other cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, technology-driven, and rapidly evolving creative environments.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to connect creative messaging with customer needs, business objectives, and measurable outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to attend off-site meetings twice per year.
- Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work within the country.
- Competitive annual salary of $90,000–$115,000, with final compensation determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and other applicable factors.
