This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager based in Brazil.
This is a senior, customer-facing role focused on helping strategic enterprise customers maximize the value of a leading cloud and AI security platform.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through onboarding, adoption, operationalization, and long-term success.
The role combines deep cloud security expertise with strong relationship management and strategic problem-solving.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders as well as technical practitioners, translating complex challenges into practical solutions.
As a bridge between customers and internal Product, Engineering, Sales, and Support teams, you will influence both customer outcomes and product evolution.
The environment is fast-paced, global, collaborative, and highly focused on innovation in cloud and AI security.
This hybrid position requires working from the São Paulo office three days per week.
- Manage a portfolio of up to 10 strategic enterprise customers, depending on their size and complexity, driving adoption, business value realization, customer satisfaction, and retention.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, providing guidance on cloud security, platform adoption, operationalization, and best practices.
- Develop and execute customer success plans with measurable objectives aligned with security, compliance, and business priorities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from technical practitioners to C-suite executives, and lead value-focused conversations, business reviews, and executive briefings.
- Identify adoption barriers, technical challenges, expansion opportunities, and renewal risks, partnering closely with Sales and Renewal teams to support commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Support, and other internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and represent customer needs and feature requests.
- Diagnose and drive resolution of highly complex technical problems, navigating ambiguous situations and coordinating multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously enable customers on new platform capabilities and help them apply cloud-security best practices effectively.
- Contribute to the development of a high-performing Technical Account Management organization by mentoring peers, supporting escalations, improving processes, and developing technical subject-matter expertise.
- Act as a cloud-security thought leader by following emerging threats, participating in industry events, and contributing to relevant technical communities and content.
- Native-level Brazilian Portuguese and excellent spoken and written English; applications must be submitted in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles supporting cloud or cloud-security products, such as Technical Account Management, Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Customer Success Engineering, or Architecture.
- Strong experience with cloud services and architecture across at least two major cloud providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or OCI.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operationalizing container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes, including understanding of their security implications.
- Practical experience with DevOps technologies such as CI/CD, version control, and Infrastructure as Code, along with awareness of related security considerations.
- Experience in cloud cybersecurity, ideally including exposure to AI/ML technologies applied to threat detection or security operations.
- Strong understanding of cloud-security best practices, threat models, and complex enterprise security use cases.
- Proven ability to manage strategic enterprise customers, build executive-level relationships, and consistently drive measurable customer outcomes.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different levels of an organization.
- Ability to use customer data, CRM systems, and technical or log-analysis tools to monitor customer health, identify trends, and inform retention and success strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple communication channels and teams while maintaining a proactive, customer-first approach.
- Legal right to work in Brazil without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from the São Paulo office three days per week.
- Preferred qualifications include advanced cloud certifications, security certifications such as CISSP or CCSP, and 12+ years of relevant technical customer-facing experience.
- Additional valuable experience includes CNAPP, cloud-security architecture, complex security transformations, and managing a portfolio of 5+ strategic enterprise customers.
