This role offers the opportunity to serve as a key financial partner for large-scale operational, startup, and capital projects.
You will work closely with project managers, executives, and cross-functional teams to monitor spending and strengthen financial performance.
The position combines financial analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, project reporting, and operational decision support.
You will leverage tools such as Oracle Projects, Oracle ERP, Oracle ePBCS, Power BI, and Excel to transform complex data into actionable insights.
Your analysis will help evaluate investment opportunities, establish forecasts and budgets, and ensure projects remain aligned with profitability targets.
You will also contribute to stronger financial controls, performance monitoring, and predictive indicators across the organization.

- Partner with project managers to track and manage spending associated with large-scale startup and capital projects.
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and consolidate financial and operational data from diverse sources.
- Use Oracle Projects to strengthen project reporting capabilities and leverage financial and operational KPIs to monitor project performance and spending.
- Manage the complete project reporting lifecycle, from project creation requests through project closure.
- Design and deliver standardized financial and operational reporting for business and functional leaders using Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle ERP, and Oracle ePBCS.
- Monitor profitability targets and evaluate potential return on invested capital for proposed projects.
- Translate pricing models into operational forecasts, financial targets, and budgets.
- Oversee the authority-for-expenditure process and develop templates, reporting tools, and deliverables for operational and financial KPIs.
- Develop methods to monitor performance against original financial assumptions and identify variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Establish detective controls and predictive indicators to improve financial oversight and project performance.
- Identify problem areas within budgets and financial performance and provide practical recommendations to leadership.
- Support continuous improvement of financial monitoring, reporting, and control processes across operational initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional or military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, financial or strategic planning, accounting, budgeting, or a comparable finance function.
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Oracle Projects.
- Experience evaluating systems of internal control and identifying opportunities to strengthen financial governance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical software, with the ability to collect data, build models, analyze information, and communicate meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated experience developing and preparing capital and operating budgets.
- Ability to monitor budgets, identify performance issues, evaluate financial implications, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Strong understanding of financial monitoring and control, general ledger, and accounts payable processes and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present clear, organized, and audience-appropriate financial information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, executives, and teams across multiple business functions.
- Master’s degree and/or CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of functions such as operations, marketing, sales, pricing, project management, human resources, and IT is beneficial.
