This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Advogado(a) Contencioso Cível Consumerista based in Brazil.
This is an opportunity for a civil litigation attorney to manage a diverse portfolio of consumer-related legal matters in a dynamic, technology-enabled environment. You will be responsible for overseeing cases throughout their lifecycle, from deadline management to procedural developments and strategic resolution. The role combines legal drafting, case analysis, procedural monitoring, and portfolio management. You will work with a high volume of information while maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong attention to deadlines. Your legal judgment will contribute directly to effective case strategies and client outcomes. The position is fully remote and suited to a proactive professional who values efficiency, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Manage a portfolio of civil and consumer litigation cases, controlling deadlines and monitoring proceedings across their different stages.
- Draft judicial documents, including defenses, appeals, intermediate motions, and other procedural submissions.
- Analyze court decisions and prepare recommendations and opinions regarding appropriate appeal strategies.
- Keep legal systems and case-management platforms accurately updated with relevant procedural information and developments.
- Evaluate different approaches and strategies to ensure effective management and progression of assigned cases.
- Monitor large volumes of legal information while maintaining accuracy, organization, and compliance with procedural deadlines.
- Apply sound legal and procedural judgment to support efficient case management and favorable outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure demands are handled efficiently and within established deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law and an active OAB registration.
- Previous professional experience in civil litigation, preferably with exposure to consumer law matters.
- Solid knowledge of Civil Law and Civil Procedure.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Previous experience managing a high volume of cases, information, and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to work with urgency, optimize time, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
