Reconditioning Technician in DIberville, Mississippi at Holmes Motors INC

Position Overview:

As a Reconditioning Tech at Holmes Motors, you’ll be responsible for restoring vehicles to meet the company’s high-quality standards. This includes detailed interior and exterior cleaning, maintaining the lot, and ensuring each vehicle is ready for sale or delivery. Reconditioning Techs play a key role in ensuring every vehicle looks its best before it reaches the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming, shampooing carpets and seats as needed, wiping down surfaces, cleaning headliners, and ensuring all glass and door jambs are spotless.
• Exterior Cleaning: Washing, claying, applying tire shine, and drying off the vehicle to ensure it looks its best.
• Sticker and Tag Application: Applying advertisement and price stickers and ensuring all vehicles have proper tags.
• Lot Care: Maintaining the lot by washing other vehicles, picking up trash, and checking vehicles on the front line for missing stickers or tags.
• Infestation Handling: Addressing infestations as needed.
• Preparation for Customer Delivery: When a vehicle is returned by the salesperson, the Reconditioning Tech will remove window stickers, wash and vacuum the interior if needed, and inspect the vehicle to ensure it’s ready for customer delivery.
• Other Duties: Completing additional tasks as assigned by the Direct Manager or Team Lead to support daily operations.

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and outdoor conditions as needed.
• Must be able to produce quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment & Expectations:

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with team members and management.
• Avoid profanity or vulgar language while on company property.
• Wear company-provided uniforms after the 90-day probationary period. Shorts or pants may be worn within company guidelines.
• Wear enclosed non-slip shoes in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Full Time Position
• Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
