The Sales BDC Agent serves as the first point of contact for customers inquiring about vehicle purchases. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound sales communications and converting leads into high-quality showroom appointments. The Sales BDC Agent plays a critical role in driving traffic, supporting the sales team, and delivering a professional, engaging, and brand-aligned customer experience across all digital and phone channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, text, website, and third-party lead sources.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to internet, phone, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage sales appointments for the showroom sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed customer records in the dealership CRM system.
  • Conduct follow-up communications with customers who have not yet visited the dealership.
  • Coordinate closely with sales managers and sales consultants to ensure smooth customer handoff and appointment readiness.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity, contact, and appointment-setting goals.
  • Represent Powerhouse Automotive Group with a professional, positive, and customer-focused approach.
  • Adhere to all company policies, compliance standards, and customer privacy requirements.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and team meetings to continuously improve results.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers via phone, text, email, and digital platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, phones, and basic computer applications.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment screening, as applicable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in BDC, call center, retail sales, or customer service preferred.
  • On-the-job training provided for candidates with strong communication skills and drive.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Dealership or centralized BDC environment.
  • Schedule may include mornings, evenings, or weekends based on business needs.

  • Ability to focus on detail-oriented tasks while handling multiple customer interactions.
