Position Status: Contingent Upon Contract Award

Position Summary

Resicum International, LLC is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanic III professionals to support P-8A aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Jacksonville in support of VP-62.

The Aircraft Mechanic III provides advanced aircraft maintenance expertise while leading, supervising, and inspecting the work of other maintenance personnel. This position is responsible for performing complex aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, servicing, and modifications while providing technical guidance to other maintenance personnel.

The ideal candidate will have extensive aircraft maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, and demonstrated experience leading or providing technical direction to aircraft maintenance personnel.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support scheduled and unscheduled P-8A aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Perform aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, servicing, and modifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, engines, flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge of aircraft systems to diagnose malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Supervise, guide, and inspect the work of lower-level aircraft maintenance personnel.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on support during complex maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret and apply aircraft technical manuals, drawings, engineering documentation, and manufacturer's publications.
  • Prioritize maintenance workload to support aircraft delivery and operational schedules.
  • Perform aircraft servicing, component replacement, structural repairs, and modifications.
  • Support corrosion control and aircraft preservation activities.
  • Support technical directive compliance and aircraft modification requirements.
  • Complete required aircraft maintenance log and record entries.
  • Assist with maintenance planning and provide technical input on aircraft repairs and modifications.
  • Follow applicable Navy aircraft maintenance procedures and local operating instructions.
  • Participate in emergency response, aircraft movement, recovery, or salvage activities when directed.
  • Maintain required qualifications, certifications, and training.
  • Promote safe maintenance practices and ensure all work is performed in accordance with applicable procedures.
Requirements: Required Qualifications
  • Extensive professional aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Strong aircraft troubleshooting, repair, and inspection experience.
  • Previous experience leading, supervising, or providing technical direction to aircraft maintenance personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft airframe, powerplant, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and flight control systems.
  • Ability to interpret and apply aircraft technical publications, maintenance manuals, drawings, and other approved technical data.
  • Ability to diagnose complex aircraft system malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ability to prioritize maintenance workload in support of operational requirements and aircraft schedules.
  • Ability to inspect and evaluate the work of other aircraft maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a maintenance team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required P-8A qualifications and certifications.
  • Ability to work the scheduled 0700–1500 day shift.
  • Ability to meet all applicable security and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • P-8A aircraft maintenance experience strongly preferred.
  • U.S. Navy aviation maintenance experience preferred.
  • Previous experience leading aircraft maintenance teams.
  • Experience supporting operational Navy aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Experience with aircraft modifications, structural repairs, and technical directives.
  • Experience with aircraft maintenance documentation and computerized maintenance systems.
  • Experience with aircraft-specific inspection and test equipment.
P-8A Qualifications

Selected candidates will be required to complete applicable P-8A qualification and training requirements associated with their assigned duties.

Additional P-8A qualifications may include aircraft ground-operation and APU qualifications, depending on assigned responsibilities.

Security Requirement

Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Candidates must be able to maintain the required security clearance and meet all applicable background investigation, CAC, and NAS Jacksonville installation access requirements.
