Supply Chain Product Manager

E-Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper-scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and services. We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.

The Supply Chain Product Manager owns the end-to-end supply chain process for assigned programs — from procurement and part number creation through PO issuance, inventory control, and delivery — ensuring efficient and effective execution of business activities. This is a hands-on execution role with no direct reports. Occasional travel for supplier visits.
Specific Program or Product:
- Own the end-to-end procurement process for assigned programs or products, including creating part numbers, placing purchase orders, and managing supplier follow-through from quote to delivery
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors
- Manage inventory levels to maintain product availability while minimizing excess stock
- Track KPIs including inventory turnover, fill rates, and on-time delivery performance
- Monitor demand forecasting and production planning processes to support efficient operations and service reliability
- Identify, evaluate, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability
- Manage and analyze price changes and their impact on program cost baselines
- Partner with Program Management to resolve supply chain-related business issues affecting program delivery
- Prepare and distribute internal and external reports supporting operational and business requirements
- Address and resolve quality control/quality assurance issues to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements
- Review Bills of Materials to identify long-lead and high-risk items/systems and craft supply chain strategies to meet program objectives
- Develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints across multiple concurrent programs
- Experience supporting U.S. government programs, including familiarity with government contracting mechanisms (e.g., OTA, FAR/DFARS-adjacent requirements)
- Operational supply chain experience (procurement, inventory, production planning)
- Direct purchasing experience
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems for procurement, purchase order management, and part/item master data
- Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to work across disciplines with engineering, design, and program management counterparts to deliver on-time products/services
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and decisions
- Ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints while managing multiple concurrent programs
- Track record operating in ambiguous environments and defining processes that scale
- Strong ability to review Bills of Materials, identify long-lead/high-risk items, and craft supply chain strategies to meet program objectives
- Organized, self-directed, and able to manage competing priorities without close supervision
- Ability to obtain security clearance if needed
- Familiarity with NetSuite, SAP or similar ERP/WMS platforms
- Exposure to aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Understanding of quality flowdown, AS9100, or supplier qualification processes
This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX office. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used—so we’re looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that’s your experience – then we’ll be immediately wow-ed. E-Space is not currently able to provide employment sponsorship for candidates who do not hold work authorization for the location of this role.
