This role provides expert support across international assignments, global mobility, and employee relocation programs.
You will act as a trusted consultant to HR business partners, hiring managers, employees, and other stakeholders on complex mobility matters.
The position combines assignment management, relocation operations, tax and immigration coordination, and policy advisory responsibilities.
You will help ensure mobility programs are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with both employee and business needs.
Working with global stakeholders and external vendors, you will coordinate services and deliver a seamless relocation experience.
The role requires strong analytical and relationship-management skills, along with the ability to navigate complex, international, and culturally diverse environments.

- Provide high-quality support and program management for international relocation and global mobility programs, ensuring consistent service delivery and strong stakeholder partnership.
- Develop a strong understanding of client-specific assignment and relocation policies, programs, processes, and benefits.
- Respond to and resolve relocation, international assignment, tax, and mobility-related questions and escalations from employees, HR business partners, recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Consult with stakeholders on the most appropriate assignment type, mobility program, and benefits based on business requirements, employee circumstances, tax considerations, and immigration requirements.
- Coordinate tax and immigration assessments and ensure the appropriate services are initiated and completed in a timely manner.
- Advise hiring managers and HR business partners on assignment benefits, processes, costs, and available options while identifying opportunities to maintain cost efficiency.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for proposed international assignments based on applicable program provisions.
- Initiate and coordinate assignment services with external providers, including tax, immigration, and relocation vendors, and manage relationships to ensure a seamless mobility experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date assignment and relocation databases and ensure relevant employee information is available for operational and financial processes.
- Assess business travel and short-term assignment requests against applicable policies and requirements.
- Serve as the first point of contact for permanent relocation queries and escalations submitted through internal ticketing systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Audit relocation package types and eligibility to ensure employees and candidates receive accurate benefits.
- Prepare exception requests for review and approval when relocation requirements fall outside standard policy.
- Maintain relocation data to support accurate and timely payment of relocation bonuses and related benefits.
- Audit and submit monthly Benefits-In-Kind reports before payroll deadlines to ensure correct tax gross-ups for relocating employees.
- Support ad hoc mobility projects, reporting requirements, process improvements, and other requests from business stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively across global teams and regional offices while maintaining a high level of customer service and cultural awareness.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience in international compensation, expatriate assignment administration, global mobility, relocation, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of international assignments and relocation programs, including relevant considerations around tax, immigration, compensation, and benefits.
- Ability to quickly understand and apply client-specific assignment and relocation policies and program provisions.
- Knowledge of global mobility and relocation products and services; experience with Cartus solutions is highly desirable.
- Understanding of international affairs, geography, and economic factors that may influence global mobility and relocation decisions.
- Experience working within a global organisation and communicating effectively with international stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess complex situations, identify appropriate solutions, and make well-informed recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, with the confidence to interact with employees, HR teams, hiring managers, recruiters, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated influencing skills and the ability to operate effectively within a complex, matrixed environment.
- Strong customer-service orientation, professional communication, and telephone etiquette.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and business requirements.
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
