About the role

Are you ready to play a crucial role in our warehouse team from September to December 2026? We're offering a competitive $21/hour rate for this fully onsite position at our Brooklyn headquarters in Sunset Park (N/R Train & B9, B11, and B37 Bus Lines). Schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work, 9:30AM–6:00 PM.

As a Seasonal Inbound Operations Associate, you will support Uncommon Goods by exceeding productivity goals and ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient receipt of all incoming freight. You'll tackle a variety of tasks throughout the fulfillment center, ranging from receiving inventory to supporting customer order fulfillment. This position reports to the Operations Supervisor.

What you'll do

• Verify and quantify incoming freight from the loading docks for accuracy and product integrity.

• Utilize handheld scanning equipment to receive purchase orders quickly and accurately.

• Receive and sign for deliveries; unload deliveries from trucks.

• Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.

• Organize and store received items in appropriate areas.

• Update inventory records and maintain records of orders and delivery details.

• Count and verify large quantities of units received from multiple vendor partners.

• Maintain flexibility to work throughout multiple areas of the operation as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment; adhere to Company Safety standards and protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, especially receiving or inbound experience.

• Experience operating heavy machinery, including electric pallet jacks.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

• Highly detail-oriented, with strong logical/mathematical reasoning and the ability to count large quantities and maintain accurate records.

• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively.

• Comfortable using computer software, including email and other communication tools.

• Must meet productivity standards on an ongoing basis
