Position Overview:
Working as the Repair Coordinator at our fast-paced, customer-focused collision repair shop, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for every customer. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the vital link between our customers and production team, keeping communication clear, timely, and compassionate throughout the repair process.
Your ability to provide exceptional customer service, coordinate repairs efficiently, and keep customers informed will help turn a stressful and unexpected situation into a positive experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers (phone, in-person, virtually) in a courteous, welcoming, and friendly manner
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and genuine care while guiding customers through each step of the repair process
- Review the damages on the vehicle with the customer and take the quality photos of the vehicle
- Safely move customer vehicles to the repair facility for assessment by the Estimator, ensuring the vehicle is positioned and ready for the inspection process
- Return vehicles to the customer area and review the next steps with customers, providing clear guidance and answering any questions to ensure they feel informed and supported throughout the repair process
- Monitor status of vehicles in repair and coordinate service updates with the production team
- Proactively contact customers and provide repair updates throughout the process
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
Qualifications:
- Valid G or G2 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Ability to drive both standard and automatic transmissions an asset
- Automotive industry experience an asset, especially service advisor roles
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with basic understanding of automotive terminology
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused demeanour
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective at time management
- Reliable follow-through to ensure customer satisfaction
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Completion of post-secondary (college or university) preferred
