This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fircosoft Developer based in India.
As a Fircosoft Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting sanctions screening and payment-processing technology within a banking and financial services environment.
You will work hands-on with Firco Continuity and related Fircosoft solutions, ensuring reliable performance across business-critical applications.
The role combines application configuration, production support, troubleshooting, integration, automation, and performance optimization.
You will help safeguard real-time payments, SWIFT, Wire, and ACH transactions through effective sanctions-screening solutions.
Working alongside technology, infrastructure, compliance, business, and vendor teams, you will contribute to stable and secure financial operations.
You will also support upgrades, deployments, CI/CD processes, incident management, and root-cause analysis across production environments.

- Implement, configure, maintain, support, and troubleshoot Firco Continuity and Fircosoft applications.
- Provide L3 application support for business-critical production environments, including monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Support sanctions screening across real-time payments, SWIFT, Wire, ACH, and other payment transaction channels.
- Configure screening rules, watchlists, filtering parameters, and related Fircosoft functionality to support business and compliance requirements.
- Work with Firco Utilities, including FMM, FML, FUM, and FFFClassic, to support application configuration and operational requirements.
- Support application integrations using MQ/MQFTE, Kafka, file-transfer mechanisms, and enterprise scheduling tools such as TWS.
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries and scripts using Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Create and maintain Unix/Linux shell scripts to support automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.
- Support application upgrades, patches, deployments, CI/CD activities, and production releases.
- Monitor application health and performance, identify potential issues, and implement appropriate corrective or preventive actions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, infrastructure teams, compliance functions, and Fircosoft/LexisNexis teams to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in application reliability, operational processes, automation, and technical performance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in technology, application implementation, application support, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Firco Continuity and Fircosoft applications.
- Solid experience with Fircosoft Trust and Firco Utilities.
- Strong understanding of sanctions screening and payment-processing environments within banking or financial services.
- Experience supporting sanctions screening for payment channels such as SWIFT, Wire, ACH, and real-time payments.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and databases such as Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong Unix/Linux knowledge, including shell scripting and production troubleshooting.
- Experience with messaging and integration technologies such as MQ/MQFTE and Kafka.
- Familiarity with file-transfer mechanisms and enterprise scheduling tools such as TWS.
- Proven experience supporting business-critical production applications, including L3 support, incident management, monitoring, RCA, and performance optimization.
- Experience with application deployments, patches, upgrades, CI/CD, and production release processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex application and integration issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, infrastructure, compliance, and external vendor teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment while managing production priorities.
- Experience with a Firco Continuity V6 upgrade is an advantage.
