Pay Rate: $15.09 + 20% evening shift allowance

Now Hiring for a Production Assembly Associate at our Ballbrit Galway, IE manufacturing plant. The purpose of this position is to prepare and assemble electronic components to printed circuit boards, to perform functional product testing and to assemble tested PCB’s into associated enclosures as per documented procedures and/or manufacturing assemble aids.
Light mechanical assembly work
- Mechanical assembly of enclosures and associated components
Board preparation and testing
- Preparation and testing of Printed Circuit Boards
Electronic testing and performance verification
- Functional testing of assembled boards/ units and recording of test results
Training/ Self-Development
- Cross-training and upskilling in multi functions across Manufacturing Cells
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
- Operation and scheduled maintenance of equipment
Hand Soldering / Board Population
- Hand Soldering and population of SMT/ THM components on Printed Circuit Boards
All tasks are to be carried out in a manner which meets or exceeds internal company quality standards and /or IPC-A-610 Workmanship Standards,6S and MSA’s Operating System. Incumbent must be flexible and supportive to all other employees and departments while performing daily tasks.
Qualifications
Experience:
Required
- Experience working in a manufacturing role.
- Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical/ process related concepts.
Preferred
- Prior job roles involving product assembly and test.
Education:
Required
- Minimum Irish Leaving Certificate standard or equivalent
Preferred
- Certificate/ Diploma in Electronics
