This is a remote U.S. opportunity offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on complex insurance technology programs.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects supporting insurance functions such as Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, and related operations.
  • Own project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and establish effective project plans.
  • Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain accurate project tracking using Jira or similar project management tools.
  • Coordinate application integrations, system upgrades, technology implementations, and production releases.
  • Identify, monitor, and proactively mitigate project risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Provide clear and consistent project status reporting, progress updates, and decision points to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery activities align with applicable quality, security, compliance, regulatory, and governance standards.
  • Bring structure, accountability, and visibility to complex initiatives while keeping teams aligned on priorities and next steps.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end technology projects within the insurance industry, financial services, or another highly regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of insurance business processes and functions, particularly Policy, Claims, Underwriting, Billing, or related operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, Product Owners, developers, vendors, executives, and other cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies and managing delivery activities through Jira or comparable project management platforms.
  • Experience coordinating application integrations, system upgrades, production releases, modernization initiatives, or other complex technology delivery milestones.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, competing stakeholder needs, and multiple workstreams while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Strong organizational skills, ownership mentality, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Working knowledge of technology quality, security, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
  • Experience with Guidewire, Salesforce, Duck Creek, or other insurance technology platforms is a plus.
  • Experience supporting data migration, cloud-based delivery, application integration, or system modernization initiatives is advantageous.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, Agile, or related project delivery certification is a plus.
Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Paid time off.
  • Compensation is determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity, with a commitment to pay equity and transparency.
