This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Oracle Cloud Senior Consultant - PPM based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead complex Oracle Cloud PPM implementations and deliver solutions that directly improve clients’ project financial management capabilities.
You will work at the intersection of business requirements, Oracle product expertise, and industry best practices to create scalable and effective solutions.
Your scope will cover project financial management, costing, billing, contracts, budgeting, revenue recognition, and project control.
You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into robust system configurations.
The role combines functional leadership, solution design, testing, documentation, and client engagement across the full implementation lifecycle.
You will also help organizations improve visibility into project performance and streamline critical financial and operational processes.

- Lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud PPM, covering Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Project Control, while ensuring solutions align with client objectives and industry best practices.
- Partner with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle Cloud configurations.
- Configure project structures, task setups, budgeting methods, costing methods, billing rules, revenue recognition processes, and related project financial functionalities.
- Design solutions that enable accurate capture and management of project costs and revenues while supporting efficient billing and revenue recognition cycles.
- Implement and optimize solutions for capital project tracking, project budgeting, forecasting, and contract-based billing.
- Ensure seamless data flows across Oracle PPM and related modules to support accurate project tracking, financial visibility, and reporting.
- Lead Conference Room Pilot (CRP) sessions and validate end-to-end project processes to ensure functional accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Conduct testing and validation activities, ensuring solutions comply with business rules, accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Support fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and go-live activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Produce high-quality functional design documents, configuration documentation, test scenarios, process documentation, and user guides.
- Advise clients on Oracle Cloud PPM best practices, solution enhancements, and opportunities to maximize the value of their investment.
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud PPM releases, features, and capabilities and identify relevant opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore functional and technical teams to coordinate delivery and resolve implementation challenges.
- Bring 8+ years of Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud experience, with a strong focus on Project Portfolio Management and related project financial processes.
- Have successfully delivered at least 3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations while acting as a functional lead.
- Demonstrate deep functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud PPM, particularly Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Project Contracts.
- Possess hands-on configuration experience across project structures, task setups, costing methods, billing rules, budgeting, and related project management processes.
- Have proven experience gathering and documenting requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, configuring solutions, leading testing, supporting training, and managing go-live activities.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, costing, billing, revenue recognition, and project financial management best practices.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
- Be experienced in working with distributed onshore and offshore functional and technical teams.
- Exposure to integrating Oracle PPM with Oracle Cloud Financials, Procurement, or HCM is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Oracle reporting and analytics tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View is preferred.
- Oracle Cloud PPM certification is an advantage.
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud release 21 or later is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, and client-facing skills, with the ability to balance business priorities and technical considerations.
