Job Summary
Reporting to the Bariatric Coordinator and/or surgeons, the Bariatric Mental Health Provider provides psychological consultation, support, counseling and intervention to bariatric patients and their significant others through evaluation of psychological well-being, under the direction and supervision of the Bariatric Coordinator, and in accordance with the stated philosophy and objectives of the Psychology Department. The Mental Health Provider is accountable for the safety of the care they deliver.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Master’s Degree in a field related to mental health.
Experience
Minimum one year experience.
Licensure and/or Certification
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), LCSW, or LICSW required.
