Job Description

Head of Product, Connected Experience

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Product, Connected Experience based in Brazil.

This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on shaping the shared experiences, services, and integrations that connect an enterprise platform together. You will own critical product surfaces such as user access, knowledge, shared components, and external integrations that impact multiple applications and customer journeys. The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on delivery, commercial judgment, customer insight, and cross-functional influence. You will translate platform strategy and business priorities into a clear roadmap while guiding product managers toward measurable outcomes. Working closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, legal, finance, and customer teams, you will ensure products are valuable, scalable, compliant, and ready for adoption. You will also establish standards across teams, even where you do not have direct reporting authority, creating consistency across the broader platform. This is an ideal role for a strategic, technically fluent product leader who enjoys solving complex problems, developing people, and driving growth in a global environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the overall product experience across shared surfaces and services that connect applications and enable consistent customer journeys.
  • Govern shared product components in partnership with design leadership, ensuring changes to widely used capabilities are deliberate, scalable, and consistently implemented.
  • Own the product strategy for external integrations and the ways external systems connect with the platform.
  • Embed regulatory, compliance, security, and data-access requirements into product development, particularly across integrations, white-label solutions, and client data.
  • Translate platform strategy and commercial priorities into a clear, prioritized roadmap for the connected experience area.
  • Recommend which initiatives should be built, deferred, or retired, and build compelling investment cases that demonstrate expected value, payback, and trade-offs.
  • Maintain accountability for delivery against commitments, ensuring initiatives meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design leadership from early discovery through launch, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, cost, and delivery speed.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, customer success, finance, and legal teams to ensure new capabilities are understood, commercially viable, supportable, and compliant at launch.
  • Sequence shared capabilities so dependent teams can deliver their work efficiently and identify cross-application conflicts early.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, integration partners, and internal stakeholders to maintain continuous insight into pain points, needs, and market opportunities.
  • Ground product decisions in customer feedback, product usage data, market evidence, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Raise the quality of discovery, experimentation, and validation across product teams.
  • Define expected outcomes for major investments and measure the value delivered against those commitments.
  • Identify cross-sell and expansion opportunities using platform adoption and usage data, partnering with sales teams to act on them.
  • Represent the product area in senior customer, prospect, and partner conversations when it supports growth and retention.
  • Lead, coach, and develop product managers within the area by setting clear expectations, providing direct feedback, and addressing performance challenges proactively.
  • Support product managers in developing their capabilities through tailored coaching and ongoing professional development.
  • Encourage thoughtful adoption of AI across product activities, recognizing where AI can create meaningful value and where human judgment remains essential.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or product leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of driving product-led growth, commercial outcomes, and measurable business value through product teams.
  • Strong experience owning platform, integration, or API products within B2B SaaS environments.
  • Experience building products used by external developers, integration partners, or other technical users.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain shared standards across teams outside your direct reporting structure, such as design systems, component libraries, or integration patterns.
  • Strong technical fluency, with the ability to confidently discuss integrations, APIs, data flows, access models, and data products with engineering teams without needing to be an engineer.
  • Experience developing products within regulated environments where compliance, security, and legal requirements influence product design and delivery.
  • At least 5 years of people leadership experience, including managing globally distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Strong strategic thinking and systems thinking, with the ability to connect customer needs, market trends, platform strategy, and commercial objectives.
  • Strong delivery leadership skills, with the ability to maintain predictable execution and quality across multiple teams without becoming a bottleneck.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels, including senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to gain alignment and adoption without relying solely on formal authority.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to evaluate investment opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and clearly articulate business cases.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong curiosity and an ability to seek diverse perspectives and identify meaningful problems worth solving.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on measurable outcomes and product performance.
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining close enough to execution and technical detail to make informed decisions.
  • Resilient, determined, and comfortable navigating obstacles and ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
  • Warm, open, honest, collaborative, and engaging leadership style.
  • Experience with AI-enabled product development or a strong interest in adopting AI to improve product management effectiveness is advantageous.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation based on the hiring location.
  • Base salaries in target EU markets starting from €100,000 gross in Spain and €95,000 gross in Portugal.
  • Remote-first flexibility designed to support different working styles and personal commitments.
  • Flexible working arrangements that allow employees to balance professional responsibilities with everyday needs.
  • Paid bonding leave to support time with a new family member.
  • Two paid charitable days each year to support causes that matter to you.
  • Annual corporate bonus or applicable incentive plan.
  • Reward and recognition programs celebrating achievements and contributions.
  • Flexible coworking space options depending on location.
  • International working environment with opportunities to collaborate across countries, cultures, and time zones.
  • Access to two learning platforms supporting continuous professional development and self-paced learning.
  • Opportunity to work with diverse global talent and build an international professional network.
  • Supportive culture that values employee contributions, collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Opportunity to influence major platform initiatives and directly contribute to customer experience, adoption, and business growth.
  • Significant leadership scope across product strategy, delivery, customer insight, and team development.
