Position Overview
This position provides exceptional, member-focused service for PAC's Advanced Esthetics Insurance program, ensuring that PAC's esthetician members receive timely and accurate support aligned with PAC's "expectmore" credo. Reporting to the head of risk management at PAC, this role acts as a key point of contact among members, PAC's insurance partners, and the membership team. It involves handling inbound calls and emails related to the program, as well as providing outbound follow-up to members as needed.
Additionally, this position supports the membership team with complex and escalated program inquiries and documentation. It also involves maintaining procedures to ensure consistent service delivery and collaborating with PAC's insurance partners and internal teams to identify and implement improvements to the customer experience.
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Insurance Program Manager. This position supervises no direct or indirect reports.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answering phones and responding to member calls and emails relating to the program
- Work hand-in-hand with our outsourced insurance company to gather additional information needed to underwrite the applicant
- Answer any billing-related inquiries. Billing codes expire every 14 days; you must be able to communicate with our outsourced insurance company to promptly request new codes.
- Facilitating communications with our members and the insurer
- Data entry, processing applications, and providing renewal documentation
- Maintaining data integrity in the membership database, NetForum
- Successfully leaving note audit trails on all member files
- Creating Standard Operating Prodecures for frequently asked questions for the Advanced Esthetics Insurance program
- Aid program retention by improving the customer experience
- Deepen knowledge of advanced modalities and devices through working with and learning from the ASCP Education Project Manager
- Process all ACORD form requests either directly from members or from the membership department
- Pre-underwrite applicants by asking modality-related questions, gathering education requirements, and understanding state-specific guidelines
- As part of a company-wide member retention effort shared across departments, make an estimated 30 expired-member outreach calls per week to help members renew their membership.
