Urdu Language Interpreter in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Urdu Language Interpreter based in India.

This role is an opportunity to use your language expertise to facilitate clear and accurate communication between English- and Urdu-speaking customers or clients.
You will interpret conversations precisely while ensuring that meaning, context, and intent are effectively conveyed between both languages.
The position combines strong communication skills, active listening, cultural awareness, and a customer-focused mindset.
You will work within established procedures while maintaining quality standards and adapting to client updates.
The role is open to both experienced professionals and freshers with strong proficiency in English and Urdu.
You will join a collaborative and energetic remote environment that values teamwork, positivity, and an engaging work culture.
Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including predominantly night shifts, is an important part of the position.

• Accurately listen to and interpret communication between English- and Urdu-speaking customers or clients while preserving the intended meaning and context.
• Follow established standard operating procedures and organizational guidelines throughout the interpretation process.
• Consistently meet defined quality objectives and contribute to maintaining high standards of service.
• Implement and adapt to client updates, process changes, and new requirements as they are introduced.

• Strong fluency in both Urdu and English, with the ability to communicate naturally and accurately in both languages.

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Strong active-listening abilities and attention to detail.
• A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to remain positive and composed when handling issues or challenging interactions.
• Candidates with Urdu-language certifications, language training experience, Urdu-language associate experience, or Urdu-focused customer support experience are particularly valued.
• Freshers are welcome if they demonstrate strong proficiency in both Urdu and English.
