Our Educational Consultants play a key role in supporting the Sales and Marketing teams by building strong relationships with educational institutions, identifying their needs, delivering professional development sessions, and promoting effective teaching methodologies and ELT resources.

About the Role

The highly successful ELT Division of Oxford University Press is seeking an enthusiastic, results-driven, and self-motivated Educational Consultant to join our dynamic sales team.

This position is based in Bursa, Yalova or Eskişehir and requires regular travel throughout the South Marmara Region, including Bursa, Yalova, and Eskişehir.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage a school visit schedule to ensure effective coverage of assigned territories and achievement of business objectives.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions for teachers, school administrators, and ELT professionals to promote OUP products and methodologies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational institutions, and key decision-makers to drive product adoption and strengthen OUP's market presence.
  • Provide regular reports and market feedback to the Regional Coordinator regarding customer needs, product performance, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within OUP’s database to support strategic planning and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors, agents, and booksellers to ensure excellent service and maximize business opportunities.
  • Support the smooth execution of sales and promotional activities through effective administrative and organizational practices.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of OUP products and competing solutions to recommend the most suitable resources for customers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree in Education or a related field.
  • An ELT qualification and/or relevant experience in English Language Teaching.
  • Previous sales experience, preferably within the education sector.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative approach and strong team-working abilities.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively with no travel restrictions.

This is a remote position. However, when business needs require, you will be expected to work from our headquarters in Istanbul.
