Job Description
Overview
As a member of the front end development team, you will build new features for Esris marketing websites. We work in a fast-paced environment using Agile/Scrum methodology to support multiple enterprise-wide content management systems. We encourage innovation and expect developers to work collaboratively with designers, developers, SEO experts, IT, analysts, and executives.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to build exciting new web experiences. Build mobile-first web interfaces with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
- Maintain existing site code with an eye for continuous automation and improvement
- Review and test code against modern browsers and mobile devices
- Provide expertise for the development and management of the Esri frontend framework and making the necessary adjustments and feature additions to stay up to date with latest coding practices
- Provide support and innovation in front-end architectures, best practices and build processes
- Manage versioning and deployment of application source code, including source control management, branching, tagging, etc.
Requirements
- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered, or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation
- Must demonstrate experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AEM, Agile, and Scrum
- Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Sciences, or a related field
