Firefighter in Pryor Creek, Oklahoma at City of Pryor Creek

Responsible for a variety of fire ground operations. Duties include responding to fire, medical and non fire emergency calls, fire education, fire training and maintaining reports; safely and properly operating fire equipment and apparatus at fire scenes; maintaining equipment and station facilities.

Requires ability to pass Firefighter I

Must posses and maintain a valid state vehicle operator's license

Must be able to pass state pension board physical

Ability to read and understand departmental policies, rules, instructions and regulations

Ability to respond to but not limited to the following: fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials, first aid and CPR

Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Ability to work with the Incident Command System

Ability to operate fire equipment and various tools

Ability to follow standard safety procedures

Ability to establish and maintain working relations with others, including the public
