Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week
Status: Hourly, non-exempt

Role Summary
The Field Coordinator keeps materials, paperwork and signage moving between our office, suppliers and job sites so production and sales can stay focused on building and selling. About half of each week goes to runs and errands. The rest goes to door hangers and canvassing around our active builds, with a bonus for every lead that becomes a job.

Responsibilities

Material runs

Deliver overstock material to active job sites and pick up leftover material from completed jobs
Run materials that were missed or short on supplier deliveries, such as flashing, wood and shingles
Return unused overstock to suppliers and bring back credit paperwork
Load, unload and secure materials safely in the company vehicle
Job-closing support

Take photos of completed work for insurance and job files
Pick up and drop off ITEL reports
Handle other errands needed to close out insurance jobs, as assigned
Sales support

Drop materials for sales reps as needed
Place and remove yard signs at job sites
Canvassing and lead generation

Hang door hangers on homes near every active build
Canvass nearby streets for insurance and retail roofing leads
Log every lead in AccuLynx under the Field Coordinator's name and hand it to the assigned rep
General

Keep the company vehicle clean, fueled and maintained
Communicate daily with the production manager on the day's run list
Represent Fortress Roofing professionally with homeowners, suppliers and crews
Compensation
Base pay is $15.00 per hour for a 40-hour week, paid [weekly / biweekly]. On top of base pay, the Field Coordinator earns a bonus for every canvassed lead that turns into work:

Insurance job started: $100 per job
Retail job closed: $200 per job
A lead qualifies when it is logged in AccuLynx under the Field Coordinator's name before the rep's first contact. An insurance job counts as started when the claim is filed, after a project manager confirms the roof is claim-worthy. Bonuses are paid [timing].

Requirements

Valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) check. A company vehicle and gas card are provided once the MVR check clears.
Able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs (a bundle of shingles) and to load and unload materials repeatedly
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and walking neighborhoods for canvassing
Reliable, on time and able to manage a daily run list with little supervision
Friendly and professional with homeowners
Smartphone for photos, navigation and AccuLynx
Roofing or construction material experience is a plus, not required
