Job Description

Description: Join the California Faucets Team!

At California Faucets, great design starts with great people. For more than 35 years, we've crafted premium kitchen and bath products that are proudly designed and manufactured in Huntington Beach, California. Known for our commitment to quality, customization, and innovation, we create products that stand apart from mass-produced alternatives and inspire homeowners, designers, and architects alike.

We're seeking a Senior Industrial Product Designer to help shape the future of our luxury product portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Product and Brand, this role will lead industrial design efforts from concept through launch, translating design, fashion, color, material, and lifestyle trends into distinctive products that strengthen our brand and delight customers.

Working closely with Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Quality, and Manufacturing, you'll bring creative vision to life by developing innovative product concepts that balance aesthetics, usability, quality, and commercial success. This is an opportunity to influence design strategy, create exceptional customer experiences, and leave your mark on a respected and growing American manufacturer.

If you're a highly creative designer with exceptional aesthetic judgment, curiosity about emerging trends, and a passion for luxury product design, we'd love to hear from you.

What's in It for You?

At California Faucets, we believe our employees are the foundation of our success. That's why we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance:

  • 100% Employer-Paid Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance for employees
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance, AD&D, and Long-Term Disability
  • Generous Paid Time Off
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Employee Discounts on theme parks, movie tickets, sporting events, hotels, and more
  • Additional voluntary benefits to meet your individual needs

In addition to the above, the Senior Industrial Designer will have responsibility for the following:

USER RESEARCH, VALIDATION, AND INSIGHT TRANSLATION

  • Lead the industrial design process from early research and concept exploration through prototyping, design validation, production handoff, and market launch, owning both creative direction and execution quality.
  • Translate insights into meaningful, innovative solutions that elevate user experience and deliver on business goals.
  • Create and maintain compelling sketches, mood boards, color and material stories, renderings, prototypes, and presentation materials that clearly communicate design intent; partner with Engineering to translate approved concepts into technical specifications, CAD, tooling, and production-ready solutions.

ELEVATE DESIGN QUALITY & USER EXPERIENCE

  • Set the bar for design craft - proportion, surface, and detailing that communicates premium design intent.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Engineering, and Quality to ensure every detail meets standards for usability, performance, and aesthetic excellence.
  • Direct and evaluate iterative prototypes, physical mock-ups, 3D-printed samples, and high-fidelity models to refine proportion, form, finish, ergonomics, and user delight, while leveraging Engineering for detailed CAD development and technical execution.

DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURING WITHOUT COMPROMISE

  • Collaborate closely with global engineering and manufacturing partners to solve complex challenges with creative, elegant solutions.
  • Navigate constraints without sacrificing design quality - ensuring the final product stays true to the original vision while meeting cost, tooling, and production requirements.
  • Balance speed and execution quality to ensure efficient handoff and successful mass production.

LEAD LUXURY DESIGN & TREND DIRECTION

  • Translate fashion, interior design, architecture, art, hospitality, and cultural influences into breakthrough product ideas that expand our design language.
  • Monitor and interpret emerging color, finish, material, form, and lifestyle trends, with particular attention to luxury kitchens, baths, interiors, furnishings, fixtures, and adjacent premium home categories.
  • Build persuasive design narratives, mood boards, palettes, and future-facing concepts that inspire the organization and guide cohesive product collections.

COLLABORATE TO WIN

  • Work fluidly with Engineering, Marketing, and Product teams to iterate quickly and land aligned, high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead brainstorms, concept sprints, and reviews with confidence and clarity.
  • Mentor junior designers, helping raise the creative bar across the team.
