  • Deliver advanced EHS training modules within competency; coordinate emergency response drills.
  • Coordinate environmental compliance efforts with the VP of Autonomous Services (Corporate EHS Manager) (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act basics, universal waste, stormwater observations, chemical inventories); compile data for regulatory reporting.
  • Serve as mentor and coach for EHS Specialists I and II; conduct quality reviews of their assessments and reports.
  • Provide site leadership coverage for the VP of Autonomous Services (Corporate EHS Manager) when assigned; interface with regulators during inspections as directed.
  • Stay current on emerging EHS regulations, standards, and industry best practices; recommend strategic updates.
  • Develop and own ASI’s construction safety program, including site-specific safety plans, subcontractor prequalification criteria, and construction-phase EHS requirements integrated into project contracts and kick-off processes.
  • Serve as ASI’s primary EHS interface with general contractors and owner’s representatives during active construction phases; conduct joint site audits, review contractor safety submittals (e.g., Activity Hazard Analysis, fall protection plans), and enforce site safety standards.
  • Lead investigation and analysis of construction-related incidents and high-potential near-misses; apply formal root cause methods and deploy systemic corrective actions across project sites and internal operations; present findings and lessons learned to leadership.
