Copy of Grounds/Facility Support Tech in Harrisonburg, Virginia at Sugaright

The position is responsible for caring for the ground's preservation, maintaining workflow to support production, and making small repairs at the Sugaright facility.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Follow proper Work Instruction procedures for Sanitation and Chemical handling.

· Daily upkeep of Master Cleaning Schedule

· Provide support for Sanitation Technician as needed

· Maintain the cleanliness of the facility's exterior (pressure washing, gutter cleaning, debris pick up, etc.)

· Receiving and Unloading trucks of raw materials into the facility and keeping the storage area organized

· Fill out the form Facility Maintenance Daily Cleaning Checklist report

· Perform basic repairs, painting, power washing, and operation of a floor scrubber.

· Operate powered industrial equipment including but not limited to: floor scrubber, forklift, scissor lift

· Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse storage area and working along with the production crew to assist with cleanups and trash removal.

· Maintain cleanliness of diesel tank area and neutralization tank room.

· Report any incident related to Food safety and quality

· Document the daily cleaning and report any incident

· Coordinate with Shift Coach as times permit to clean designated areas

· Work Closely with Load-Out Operator and Specialty Operators to ensure that all areas are maintained, and clean at all times

· Maintain equipment as directed and ensure the work area is clean at all times.

· Perform sanitation on equipment as required.

· Follow GMP and other quality processes and procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned

· Responsible for adhering to food safety and quality system requirements by committing to meet all pertinent regulatory, customer, and SQF requirements

· In case of vacation or illness, the Tech 2 or Shift Coach is the backup for this position.
