Job Description

Respiratory Therapist – PRNJob Description

Join our Sea Breeze Sleep & Medical team as a PRN (as-needed) Respiratory Therapist and play a vital role in delivering compassionate care to our patients suffering from sleep apnea. This flexible, per-diem role allows you to help patients gain a better night's sleep and overall health improvement through the positive outcomes of your quality patient care, on a schedule that works around your availability. Minimum Requirements
  • Associate degree from a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program
  • State licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of New Hampshire
  • DME experience related to CPAP and BiPAP therapy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in operating computers and webcam-based communication
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible, on-call hours, including some evenings or weekends as patient needs arise
Preferred Requirements
  • Salesforce experience or knowledge
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Explain the purpose and procedure of treatments, tests, and equipment to patients and provide necessary education
  • Set BiPAP and CPAP machines according to prescribed settings
  • Properly fit new masks and ensure proper care of masks
  • Appropriately communicate client feedback to other departments
  • Multi-task, set priorities, pay attention to detail, and manage time effectively
  • Effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing; multiple languages a plus
  • Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening, and visual)
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance, confidentiality, discretion, and caution when handling sensitive information
  • Be self-motivated and efficient with time management
  • Work independently with minimal supervision on assigned shifts
  • Monitor patients' machine usage and report it to insurance companies

Schedule & Pay
  • Competitive hourly pay: $28–$32/hour, based on experience
  • PRN/as-needed basis — shifts assigned based on patient volume and business need; flexible availability required
  • No guaranteed minimum hours
